UR Party, For Those Who Know 4
 毎年恒例のUR（アンダーグラウンド・レジスタンス：デトロイトを拠点とするクリエイター集団）のパーティー『フォー・ゾーズ・フー・ノウ』。
ムーブメント・フェスティバル2日目である日曜の夜、ウェイン州立大学の右手、カス・アベニューにある『アルビンズ』というナイトクラブで、その4回目が開催されました。前回ほどの客入りはなかったものの、それでもかなりの盛り上がりを見せたのです。
 DJデックスの、URクラシックスと最新ヒット曲との楽しいミックスでパーティーがスタート。
次は、URのDJでありプロデューサーでもあるビリーボブとDJスカージとで編成されるテクノ・ユニット、アクアノーツのライブ。彼らの奏でる曲は、奇妙でいて幻想的な空気が電子音にブレンドされており、その実に絶妙なこと！続くバズ・ゴーリーは、URがしたハード・テクノと他のレーベルからリリースされているハード・テクノをミックスした、実にナイスなセットを展開。
 その後は、マーク・フラッシュのDJと、私ことアブドゥル・クァディム・ハックのライブ・ペインティング。マーク・フラッシュはラテン・テクノとテクノ・ハウスの陽気なミックスをプレイ、それは絵を描くのに最高のセット！
素晴らしい音楽にインスパイアされた私は、過去最高の出来と思えるアフリカ人女性の絵を描きました。題して「イエスタデイズ・ミューズ（昨日の女神）」。マーク・フラッシュは私の絵を見て大いに感銘を受けてくれ、DJが終わってからお買い上げ！どうもありがとう、マーク！
最後にジェームズ“サバーバン・ナイト”ペニングトンが、自身の新曲をライブで披露。未発表だったそれは、良い音楽を求めて会場に残っていた観客達にとって、最高のご馳走になったはず！

It was Sunday night, the second night of the Movement Festival. It was also time for the 4th annual UR party known as For Those Who Know. This year it was held at Alvin’s nightclub on Cass Avenue right in the heart of Wayne State University in the cultural center of Detroit. Although this party did not have as many people as the previous parties it was still a wonderful time being here.
To start of the night was DJ Dex, who played a nice blend of UR classics and current hits.
Afterwards, the Aquanauts performed some of their songs. What a blend of electro weirdness! The Aquanauts are made up of UR DJ/Producers Bileebob and DJ Skurge.
Next Buzz Goree played his set of hard UR tracks and other hard techno that sounded quite nice.
After Buzz Goree was Mark Flash and live painting by Abdul Qadim Haqq. Mark Flash’s set was wonderful! The perfect DJ set to paint to! Mark Flash played a nice blend of latin techno and techno house. Inspired by such wonderful music, Abdul Qadim Haqq, techno visual artist for many years painted a wonderful painting of an African woman. He titled it, “Yesterday’s Muse”. DJ Mark Flash was so impressed that he bought it after his DJ set! Domo arigato, Mark Flash!
After him, James “Suburban Knight” Pennington played a few of his new songs. What a musical treat for the crowd that still remained!
